Scripture

The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself and His plan for mankind. It is without error and completely reliable.

God

God is a perfect being who always was and always will be. He exists as one being with three co-equal persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

• The Father

  Sovereignly directs the affairs of the world and has made salvation available to all.

• The Son

  Offered Himself up as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, and is the only way by which people can be saved.

• The Holy Spirit

  Draws all men to Himself, seals and empowers believers, and convicts the world of sin.

Creation

God created everything from nothing in six days, including the universe, the earth, the land, the sea, animals, and mankind.

Man

God created mankind to love Him and be in relationship with Him, but they chose to sin and were separated from God because of their sins.

Salvation

Mankind can do nothing to merit God’s forgiveness. Salvation is a gift that is offered to people by faith alone, through grace alone, in Christ alone.

Sanctification

Believers are sanctified by Christ at the moment they are saved, but must at the same time become more like Him in practice.

Perseverance

All true believers will persevere till the end and see the final reward God has in store for them.

The Church

Serves as Christ’s hands and feet to the world. The primary purpose of the Church is to make disciples who make disciples.

Baptism

Involves a believer being put under the water (immersed), as a public declaration that he or she is following Christ.

The Lord’s Supper

Bread and juice are taken regularly by believers as a visible reminder of Christ’s suffering and death for them.

Marriage

God established the institution of marriage, whereby a man and woman are joined to one another in a covenant before God.

Heaven & Hell

All people will live eternally in Heaven or Hell based upon whether or not they received Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The End Times

Jesus Christ will return one day to rescue the Church, put an end to sin, and judge the world.
